Carpooling Resources and Commuter Options Programs

    • Commute Green New Hampshire – Commute Green New Hampshire is the annual promotion to encourage you, your friends, neighbors, co-workers and employers to choose inexpensive, healthier and more environmentally-friendly transportation options.
    • NH Rideshare – NH Rideshare is a FREE commuter matching service provided by the NH Department of Transportation and dedicated to finding an alternative way for commuters to travel to and from work.
    • Upper Valley Rideshare – Upper Valley Rideshare is a FREE commuter matching service provided by Advance Transit. To help commuters form carpools, UV Rideshare uses computer-matching software to locate potential partners and offers Emergency Ride Home benefits to everyone in a registered carpool too.
    • Program for Alternative Transportation and Health – PATH offers FREE assistance to its members by helping them connect with carpools. PATH and NH Rideshare also work with employers to establish organization-specific carpool programs and are working to make bicycling, walking and public transportation safer and more accessible.
    • Monadnock Transportation Management Association – MTMA is a coalition being built by a diverse group of public and private sector stakeholders interested in a better transportation future for the Monadnock Region.
    • Contoocook Valley Transportation Company – CVTC is the result of a grass-roots project to enact solutions to the problem of transportation in its rural area. It has a volunteer driver program, rideshare program and shuttle program to meet the transportation needs in its region.

  • Bike-Walk Alliance of New Hampshire – BWA-NH is the statewide focal point for bicycling and pedestrian related issues including safety and education programs, to act as a clearinghouse and resource for literature, and to promote viable programs initiated by other organizations.
  • Granite State Wheelmen – The Granite State Wheelmen is New England’s most active adult recreational bicycling club. GSW promotes safety, education and camaraderie.
  • Seacoast Area Bicycle Routes – SABR is the bicycle advocacy group for Seacoast New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
  • Central New Hampshire Bicycling Coalition – CNHBC is the bicycle advocacy group for Concord and Central New Hampshire region.
  • Monadnock Cycling Club – Promote, organize, educate, and facilitate safe and enjoyable bicycling in the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire with representation of all interests within the cycling community.

  • NH Transit Association: The NHTA’s mission is to provide information, education and support to New Hampshire transportation providers and to improve mobility for New Hampshire citizens.
  • Concord Coach Lines – Concord Coach Lines serves points in New Hampshire and Maine to Boston South Station and Logan Airport. CCL is also affiliated with Dartmouth Coach and Boston Express Bus.
  • C& J Trailways – C&J is the second largest provider of intercity bus transportation in Northern New England serving seven destinations with over 30 daily departures from the New Hampshire Seacoast, and Newburyport to Logan Airport, Boston South Station, and Port Authority in New York City.
